Welcome to the Hippos 2012 website, the international equine congress for veterinarians.
This is the fifth edition of this congress and again the organising committee is glad to present to you the different changes that have been made to this event.
This edition will be hosted by the beautiful medieval town of Leuven, with direct accessibility from Brussels airport. Leuven is not only home to the Stella Artois brewery, but is very rich in different historical touristic highlights amongst which its famous university.
The scientific program was established following a survey held amongst more than 400 veterinary practitioners and will provide delegates with a well balanced combination of orthopaedic, surgical and internal medicine subjects. One of the sessions will particularly focus on the equine foot, another on discipline related lameness. The full program can be found elsewhere on this website.
